GRIR
The "German Risk and Insurance Review" (GRIR) is an open access, academic, peer-reviewed, electronic journal for risk management and insurance, also covering related subjects such as social insurance, actuarial science, risk theory and insurance law. The journal started in spring 2005 as part of the Open Access Initiative "Digital Peer Publishing NRW", launched and funded by the Ministry of Science and Research of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The Hochschulbibliothekszentrum NRW (HBZ) offers the necessary publishing services for the new journals of this initiative.
Project partners for GRIR are the Department for General Business Administration, Risk Management and Insurance at the University of Cologne and the University and Municipal Library of Cologne, Germany.
In 2012 the E-Journal went out of business. No contributions will be accepted for publication.
